When to use it

Compare the packs on your shortlist.

You may be choosing between two films, weighing a paper-based pack against the current structure or changing format to suit a production line. We compare the candidates in the context of the food and process, then identify where supplier information or testing is still needed.

    Peter reviews the technical interpretation. We separate documented advantages from assumptions and data gaps.

    Deliver the comparison

    You receive a written side-by-side assessment, the reasoning behind it and the supplier questions or trials needed before a change.

Your decision point: use the comparison to choose which option deserves supplier confirmation or a production trial. Physical testing and line trials are arranged by your team or a specialist. Sourcing, if needed, has a separate fee; you buy materials directly from the supplier.

The report

Your report describes each pack, the information available for it and the technical or market considerations that may affect your choice. It also identifies questions the documents cannot settle. We agree the number of options, review call and fixed fee in advance. We do not conduct laboratory tests or detailed engineering design. Material sourcing can be quoted separately, with your team buying directly from suppliers.
